Our Expert Opinion on Nationwide 1 Year Triple Access ISA

Jan WatermannCo-Founder, DepositScout

Nationwide's 1 Year Triple Access ISA suits savers who want ISA tax wrapping and occasional access but can live within a strict three-withdrawal limit over the term. The 3.30% rate sits below the cash ISA market average and is 1.82% behind the category leader at 5.12%, so this is not a standout rate. The real catch is the penalty for a fourth withdrawal: the rate drops sharply to 1.05% for the remainder of the term, which makes this account punishing if your plans change. At 3.30% you are only 0.20% above August 2026 CPI of 3.1%, leaving very little real return.
