Our Expert Opinion on NatWest Reward Platinum Debit Card

The Reward Platinum Debit Card suits someone who wants packaged account perks - family travel insurance, mobile cover and UK breakdown - alongside a debit card that costs practically nothing off the real exchange rate on Mastercard abroad. At £22 a month the fee is real, and I would factor in that from October 2026 it rises to £23 and the £1 app-login reward disappears. The rewards engine also requires 2+ Direct Debits and a £1,250 monthly deposit, so the ongoing value depends heavily on how you bank.
