Must hold a Nationwide current account, savings account, or mortgage to apply.
The Nationwide Member Credit Card is worth a look if you spend abroad regularly, as it uses Visa and sits at the best rate we've measured, with practically nothing off the real exchange rate on purchases. There are no rewards on spending, but the 24.9% APR is cheaper to borrow on than most, against a typical fee-free card at 27.90%. The catch is that you must already hold a Nationwide current account, savings account, or mortgage to apply. I would also watch out for the 2.5% fee (minimum £3) on foreign cash withdrawals, which accrues interest from the withdrawal date.
