The Barclaycard Rewards Credit Card is best suited to people who travel frequently and want to avoid foreign transaction fees, as it uses the Visa rate with practically nothing off the real exchange rate, which is the best rate we have measured. The 0.25% cashback on eligible purchases is a genuine catch: it earns less than the typical reward card, sitting 0.49% behind the 0.74% typical card earns, so I would not choose it primarily for cashback. The 28.9% APR is typical for a fee-free card, but paying in full each month matters here because cash withdrawals abroad attract interest from the withdrawal date.
