Our Expert Opinion on Aldermore Regular Saver Account

Jonny PeaseCo-Founder, DepositScout

Aldermore's Regular Saver pays 4.20%, which is below the market average for regular savers and 3.80% behind the category leader at 8.00%, so this is not a rate I would hold up as particularly strong. It does beat CPI inflation by 1.10% (CPI is 3.1% as of Aug 2026), which is something, and the £25 minimum makes it accessible. The real constraint is the £300 monthly deposit cap, which limits you to £3,600 over the year, and interest is only paid at maturity before the balance rolls into an easy access account. I would check Monmouthshire Building Society's Regular Saver at 5.00% before committing here.
