Our Expert Opinion on NatWest Digital Regular Saver

Jan WatermannCo-Founder, DepositScout

The NatWest Digital Regular Saver suits existing NatWest customers who want a simple, instant-access home for a small monthly surplus, paying 5.25% AER (variable) on balances up to £5,000, which at least beats August 2026 CPI of 3.1% by 2.15%. That said, the rate sits below the regular saver market average and 2.75% behind the category leader at 8.00%, so if you are not already with NatWest, there is little reason to choose it. The £150 monthly deposit cap is the main practical constraint, and anything above £5,000 earns just 1.00%.
