£84 annual fee refunded with a NatWest Reward Black current account.
The NatWest Reward Black Credit Card is best suited to frequent travellers who want fee-free Mastercard spending abroad, where it matches the best cards we have measured at practically nothing off the real exchange rate. On rewards, though, it earns less than the typical reward card: our benchmark puts the typical card at 0.74%, while this one pays 1% only at supermarkets and 0.5% elsewhere. I find the £7 per month fee hard to justify on cashback alone, though NatWest does refund the £84 annual fee if you hold a NatWest Reward Black current account. The 40.7% APR means carrying a balance would be costly.
