Our Expert Opinion on eToro Cash ISA

The 4.87% rate here is eye-catching, but it is worth understanding what you are actually getting: a 3.87% base variable rate linked to a qualifying money market fund, topped up by a 1% boost for the first 12 months. That means the headline figure drops after a year, and the underlying rate can move at any time. The bigger catch for me is the withdrawal limit - make more than three withdrawals in a 12-month period and you lose the introductory boost entirely, which makes this less suitable if you want genuinely flexible access despite the instant-access label. If you want to lock in something close to this rate for longer, Close Brothers Savings has a two-year fixed Cash ISA at 4.88%.
