At 3.20% it sits below the regular saver market average and 4.80% behind the market leader at 8.00%, so it is hard to recommend over alternatives like Monmouthshire Building Society's Regular Saver at 5.00%. The rate does just edge above August 2026 CPI of 3.1% by 0.10%, and you can save up to £2,000 a month, but the one-withdrawal-per-year limit with a 30-day interest penalty for any extras is a real constraint.
