The rate sits 0.75% below the current Cash ISA market leader at 5.25%, and Aldermore's position is below the market average, so this is not where I would start my search. It does beat August 2026 CPI of 3.1% by 1.40%, which at least means your money grows in real terms. The £20,000 cap and the nine-month lock-in are the main constraints to weigh up.
