Thisbank's 5-Year Fixed Term Deposit pays 5.05% and is worth considering if you are confident you will not need the money for the full five years, as there is no access until maturity. Interest is credited annually but you cannot actually withdraw it until the account matures, so do not count on that income in the meantime. If you want a marginally better rate on the same term, Close Brothers Savings has a 5-Year Fixed Rate Bond at 5.07%, and it is worth noting that thisbank shares its FSCS protection with JN Bank, so keep that in mind if you hold money with both.
