Our Expert Opinion on LHV 9 Month Fixed Rate Bond

Jonny PeaseCo-Founder, DepositScout

LHV's 9 Month Fixed Rate Bond pays 4.25%, which sits below the market average for fixed-rate bonds and 1.10% behind the current leader at 5.35%, so it is hard to recommend without shopping around first. That said, it does beat August 2026 CPI of 3.1% by 1.15%, meaning your money at least grows in real terms. The main catch is the usual one for a fixed bond: no access until maturity, with interest only paid at the end of nine months. Kent Reliance's 9 Month Fixed Rate Bond at 4.56% or Atom Bank's equivalent at 4.55% are worth a look for the same term.
